Two-family Residential Addition

We believe that no project is too small! The owner of a two-family home in Somerville, MA reached out to us to design an attic-level addition to the existing house. The goal was to introduce a dormer into the existing gable roof to expand the usable attic area, with the longer-term vision of converting the unit into an ADU down the road. One step at a time, we designed the addition and produced a full permit set and construction documents to support the owner through the permitting process, helping secure approval from the building department. The new attic-level program adds an additional bedroom and a full bath.
