 In 2019, manymany friends set out on a joyful journey down the path of design, embarking on many exciting projects in numerous locations around the globe Our team of licensed architects and designers brings together a diverse range of experiences from renowned architecture practices around the world, united by a shared goal of creating designs that are simply good. While physically based in Boston and Hong Kong, manymany friends works across locations and disciplines, embracing online collaboration as an essential part of how we communicate and design.

From architecture and interiors to furniture, exhibitions, installations, objects, and graphics, our work spans a broad range of scales and disciplines. Our goal is simple: to create spaces that are sustainable, affordable, and accessible, without losing the joy of design.

People

Over the years, many talented people have been part of this evolving practice, each contributing their own voice, skills, and perspectives. While the studio has always been shaped by a network of collaborators, the core team revolves around the following key members 

You Wu
Founder, Director of Hong Kong Office

You Wu is a designer and curator. He teaches at The University of Hong Kong. His work explores the relationship between ecology, geometry, and local community. He holds a Master of Architecture from Princeton University, where he received a full scholarship and the highest honour, the Suzanne Kolarik Underwood Prize upon graduation. He was also a recipient of the Fontainebleau School Fellowship in 2018.

Ji Shi, AIA, NCARB
Founder, Director of Boston Office

Ji Shi is an architect registered in MA & NY. He earned his Master of Architecture from Princeton University School of Architecture and has worked at renowned architecture firms in the US and internationally. His professional trajectory spans both design practice and research, with a focus on technology across the scales of exhibition, installation, and architecture.
