Earthly Notes: 33 Attempts on Listening is an exhibition that explores the non-visual aspect of space. It is organized by the University of Hong Kong in conjunction with the Faculty of Architecture's celebration for the 75th Anniversary of its founding in1950. This is the first time the Chung Yang Tai Art and Cultural Centre has presented a themed exhibition on the subject of architecture and issues related to sound and sense. The first-year course coordinator and curator, Professor Thomas Tsang, specializing in the interdisciplinary between art and architecture, focuses on the sonic content as part of the first year in the Fall of 2024, with 5 teachers and 67 students, to develop drawing on a table that focuses on founded object-specific memories of urban habitations in Hong Kong, as well as the presence of site-specific sound furniture and newly repaired instruments unique to Langtou village in Guangdong.
